Vacation, part 2

Well, we got back from Branson. We had a lot of fun! (for the most part) I accidentally dropped my camera on the pavement. Okay, so my lens is broken, but the camera itself is still okay. Whew. Thank goodness for warranties! Here's just a few pics of our trip. Next up, FLORIDA!! In just two days, we'll be on the sunny beaches of florida visiting an old friend. YEA!!!

Vacation

We're off to our first vacation spot of the summer. BRANSON!! When I was little, we went to Branson several time during the summer. So I'm excited about getting to go now. This will be the first time being there without mom, so I know parts of it will be difficult. But I know she would have wanted us to have a good time.

Ballet, here I come!

Well, I had my first ballet lesson this morning. It went really well! I was surprised at how much fun I had. Sure, it was a workout. But it was fun, too! My really good friend was teaching me. She asked if I had ever taken ballet before. I said nope. She said that I was doing really well and that I was catching on quickly. Yea!

Okay, gonna go take a shower now.

Ballet

So, I've recently started a workout regimine. I've been going to the gym every day. When I don't go to the gym, then I'm doing some other physical workout. Tomorrow, I'm starting ballet. I've always wanted to learn ballet, and now's my chance! Of course, I don't see myself becoming a ballerina on Broadway, or anything like that. But I do intend to get a good workout! So tomorrow, I'll have to tell you all about how it went. That is, of course, if I still have the energy to type!

New Job

Well, I did it! I got a new job, finally! I will soon be working weekends at a local hotel. I'm pretty excited about it, but I'm going to have to adjust to the new hours. I'll be working from 6:00 am until 3:00 pm, Friday-Monday. It's definitly going to be different, but I'm ready for the change. I'll still have my evenings free. But it looks like the middle of the week is going to be my "weekend". Yea, a new job! Oh, this job also comes with benefits! Now we'll finally get some health insurance. Whew.

Missing momma

I've had a rough couple of days. I finally realized that this is real. My momma really isn't coming back. I'll never hug her again. Never see her smile or laugh (which was contagious!). I can never ask her advice anymore. What am I going to do? I'm even going to miss taking care of her. Even though it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do, I'm going to miss it. Yesterday, I was looking through some cabinets and found her "peaches and cream" oatmeal. I just about lost it... again. I wanted to be able to make that for her again so bad. Sigh. Boy, this is going to take a long time.
